My pet recently passed away and I can't seem to cope with the loss. Is there someone I can talk to?

It's not unusual for people to feel this way after the death of a pet.  For this reason, Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine provides a grief hotline at 607 218 7457.

The first Pet Loss Support Hotline was set up in 1989 at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California at Davis. Cornell used their guidelines in construction of our own hotline. The hotline is staffed by volunteer veterinary students who have undergone extensive training with professional grief counselors. Volunteers regularly attend discussion meetings
